Public Notice on Online Banking(BOCNET) Corporate Service Suspension and Influences


 


Dear Valued Online Banking Customers:

Corporate online banking service of BOC will be unavailable during the holiday from Oct 1st to Oct 8th, 2009.

In order to better our customer service, Bank of China will perform system upgrade in early October, 2009. Corporate online banking services faces several influences during the system upgrade period as follows:

1. Agency Payment: The processing of Agency Payment transactions between 12:00 on Sep 29th and 0:00 on Oct 1st, 2009 will be delayed until after Oct 9th, 2009.

2. Domestic Cross-bank Remittance:

(1) Due to the influence of the relevant system of the People’s Bank of China, the processing of Domestic Cross-bank Remittance (including all immediate transactions and scheduled transactions) of RMB 20,000 or less will be suspended from 16:00 on Sep 30th to 9:00 on Oct 9th, 2009. Meanwhile, due to our system upgrade, the processing of Domestic Cross-bank Remittance (including all immediate transactions and scheduled transactions) of RMB 20,000 or less related to accounts at BOC Hebei Branch will be suspended from 15:00 on Sep 30th, 2009.

(2) Due to the influence of the relevant system of the People’s Bank of China, the processing of Domestic Cross-bank Remittance (including all immediate transactions and scheduled transactions) over RMB 20,000 will be suspended from 17:00 on Sep 30th to 9:00 on Oct 9th, 2009. Meanwhile, due to our system upgrade, the processing of Domestic Cross-bank Remittance (including all immediate transactions and scheduled transactions) over RMB 20,000 related to accounts at BOC Hebei Branch will be suspended from 16:00 on Sep 30th, 2009.

3. Online Payment Refund: The processing of batch refund transactions between Oct 1st and Oct 5th of Merchant Services will be delayed until after Oct 6th,2009.

After the system upgrade, part of the corporate online banking service functions will be changed. Please refer to the Users’ Guide on the Online Banking Corporate Services Adjustments for more details.
