Introduction
Certificate of corporate deposit is the written certificate issued to corporate deposit customers, indicating the book balance of various accounts in the bank. The balance listed on the certificate of corporate deposit is generally collected from the customer's book balance on the working day before the signing and issuing date of the certificate, and can also be the book balance on a certain date in the past designated by the customer. Bank of China issues the certificate of deposit subject to the currency type of the actual account, and it's not allowed to issue certificate of deposit in another currency converted.
Target Customers
All customers who have opened corporate deposit accounts in Bank of China, in demand of business, can submit written applications for the opening corporate certificate of deposit at the opening bank.
Process
1. First of all, the customer needs to fill out the application form of opening certificate of corporate deposit in the opening bank, and submits the written application to the bank. Bank of China only accepts the application form stamped with the seal reserved by the customer.
2. After verifying the content of the application on corporate certificate of deposit and its seal, the banking personnel in Bank of China shall, as requested by the customer, make receipt in duplicate of certificate of corporate deposit concerning the account balance displayed in the accounting system and the savings confirmation letter with the official seal of Bank of China affixed, and give the first piece (the original) to the customer.
Kind Reminder
1. Once the customer's certificate of corporate deposit is lost, Bank of China may not accept loss report, or refund the handling fees.
2. Certificate of corporate deposit may not be used as pledge or guarantee; therefore, nobody is allowed to use the corporate certificate of deposit as guarantee or pledge. If any deposit has been used as pledge, Bank of China shall give clear indication in the corresponding column on the certificate of corporate deposit of such deposit.
