Established in February 1912, Bank of China Limited (hereinafter referred to as the “Bank” or “BOC”) is the longest continuously operating, as well as the most globalised and diversified bank in China. The Bank has institutions in 64 countries and regions outside the Chinese mainland and provides a full suite of financial services to its customers.
To meet its business needs, the Bank now launches its 2024 Spring Campus Recruitment. Relevant details are as follows:
I. Overview
The recruitment process will be a unified one. Placement opportunities are available in following offices or institutions:
i. Head Office-level Institutions (Bank Card Center, IT Operation Center, Software Center, International Settlement Centre, Centralised Operation Center (Guangdong), Centralised Operation Center (Hubei)).
ii. Audit departments (Beijing, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Guangdong, Hainan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Suzhou, Dalian, Qingdao).
iii. Domestic branches (Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Hainan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Tibet, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Suzhou, Dalian, Qingdao, Xiamen).
iv. Offices in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and other countries and regions (branches and subsidiaries of Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited and its branches and subsidiaries including Jakarta Branch, Manila Branch, Vientiane Branch, and BOCHK Nanning Operation Centre; Macao Branch; New York Branch).
v. Non-banking subsidiaries (BOC Investment Management, BOC Insurance, BOCI China, BOC Fullerton Community Bank, BOC Consumer Finance, BOC-Samsung Life, BOC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., BOC Financial Technology, BOC Wealth Management).
II. Openings
i. Head Office-level Institutions
1. Bank Card Center: product R&D, data analysis, risk management, marketing and financial accounting positions are open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. The Bank Card Center is mainly responsible for bank card businesses, including product R&D, brand marketing, consumer protection, risk management and middle-office and back-office management. Place of work: Beijing.
2. IT Operation Center: IT positions are open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. The IT Operation Center is mainly responsible for production and operation management of information systems across the Bank, Group cybersecurity and digitalization in IT operation. Place of work: Beijing, Shanghai, Hefei or Hohhot.
3. Software Center: IT positions are open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. The Software Center is mainly responsible for the development and testing of information systems across the Bank. Place of work: Beijing, Shenzhen, Xi’an or Hefei.
4. International Settlement Centre: documents processing related positions are open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. The International Settlement Centre supports international settlement and trade financing businesses in domestic branches, overseas branches and the Head Office, and is mainly responsible for the processing, due diligence and centralized operation of documents. The Center also provides professional support to front-office businesses including consulting, product marketing and customer expansion. Place of work: Beijing, Shanghai.
5. Centralised Operation Center (Guangdong): centralised operation positions and technology-support positions are open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. The Center is mainly responsible for the centralized processing and production management of the standard business across the Bank and the business of non-banking subsidiaries and overseas institutions. Place of work: Foshan, Guangzhou.
6. Centralised Operation Center (Hubei): centralised business processing positions and IT positions supporting whole product development process are open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. The Center is mainly responsible for the centralized processing and production management of the standard business across the Bank and the business of non-banking subsidiaries and overseas institutions. In the meantime, the Center also focuses on promoting the building of relevant systems and process optimization, and providing intelligent operational support for business development throughout the Group. Place of work: Wuhan.
ii. Audit departments
Auditor and audit data analyst positions are open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. Successful applicants will be assigned to tasks such as managing data analysis systems, processing audit data, or conducting audits, etc.
iii. Domestic branches in the Chinese mainland
1. IT position. This position is open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. Recruits will do IT related work at different levels of branches.
2. Positions at outlets (front office). This position is open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. Recruits will first work in positions like comprehensive service manager for a period of time for practical training and then be assigned to provide marketing services in relevant positions at outlets or other business management institutions based on their performances, personal aptitudes, etc.
3. Positions at outlets (administrative). This position is open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad. Positions at those institutions who suffer from an undersupply of fresh graduates (primarily county-level institutions) are also available to in-service staff who graduated no more than three years ago and experienced professionals in the financial industry under 32 years old. They will be assigned to provide comprehensive services such as counter service and lobby service at outlets.
iv. Offices in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other countries and regions
Positions in banking businesses and other related areas are open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad.
vi. Non-banking subsidiaries
Positions in financial services related areas are open to graduates from universities both at home and abroad.

Once you’ve completed your profile, you may create and submit your applicants to openings listed. (For Spring Campus Recruitment, each candidate can apply for only one position within the same tier-1 institution and no more than four positions in total; and you may NOT apply to both the Spring Campus Recruitment positions and the Internship Program at the same time.
